Do Politics

Welcome to the Do Politics Centre brought to you by the Electoral Commission

This website is a resource hub for electoral administrators, youth and community workers, teachers, and other practitioners interested in encouraging people to get involved in our democracy.

If you would like information about elections in your area or how to register to vote, please visit www.aboutmyvote.co.uk.

Cookbook specials

Do you know your AM from your MSP? Building on the success of our Northern Ireland special, we have produced streamlined editions of the Democracy Cookbook focused around the Scottish Parliament and the National Assembly for Wales. Information about the role and recent history of  each devolved institution goes alongside specially tailored activities to provide a brilliant primer in devolved democracy.

Visit the Democracy Cookbook page to download or order the Cookbook specials.
